An exciting collection of real stories from mature women
Life's Spices From Seasoned Sistahs is a collection of life stories from mature women of color — stories of women going through life-changing and woman-affirming events, told by women who have lived, struggled, loved and triumphed. It is the kind of book you will want to savor, a few selections at a time.
Edited by publisher Vicki Ward, the anthology brings together more than forty poets, journalists, scholars and storytellers — voices from Chicago to Oakland, Chennai to Guatemala — whose essays, poems and memoirs celebrate the strength and wisdom of women of color.
